Illustration Friday - Ocean
A weekend in Adelaide, spanning time in the easy comfort of old friends. Children never forget and so when on Saturday when Jonah realised we were going to my friend Robyn's house, he insisted we have a repeat game of Picture Tag. (see: The Spanish Indian Jungle).
By Jonah (age 5), his mum (me!) and her great friend Robyn Finlay.
Very cute and colourful!
ReplyDeleteClaire, I congratulate you, I love you to do involve children in your illustration
ReplyDeletevery good idea.
I can tell you I've seen some pictures of current Japanese artists, who are not very far from that you did with the kids, really! (search in google Misaki Kawai) :)))
Oh, I love this!! So much to look at!! Bright, vibrant colors and fun characters! What a wonderful colaboration! (I wonder what is hiding under those rocks!!)

ReplyDeleteJonah, you are very clever. I love the madness of this illustration and the fact that it's a collaborative effort. It's lovely!

ReplyDeleteWow! Crab in a hat! Teeny tiny seahorse family! Cat rowing a boat! My goodness, so much great stuff! That is definitely a party I would like to go to. :D
ReplyDeleteThis is just amazing!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful under-the-sea scene, I especially love the owl & the pussycat in their boat. It's such a good idea to collaborate with kids, my daughter and I paint together, but on our own work. I think I will invite her to collaborate sometimes. Thanks for visiting and commenting on my blog :)
ReplyDeleteLike Tracy, love that the Owl & the Pussycat are there.
