Busy busy at the Art Centre the last few weeks so very happy to be spending a Sunday doing IF again after a few weeks absence.
When I sat down at my desk, I also found this little scribble (see below) of an idea I had for last weeks theme "Robot", the Row boat Robot...a little silly!
Two days left to vote for Illustrate it. Thanks to all who voted and if you haven't, please do!!!
Row boat Robot Illustrate it
Hi, Claire!!
ReplyDeleteI sent you an email a few days ago saying that I received your envelope, but I was afraid that you had not received. OK. I'm happy! :)))))
Do not you think that for those (as us) who live far from towns, cities are a jungle, almost a hell, but people who live there do not realize it?
I guess this is normal. i think that for lions, elephants, tigers, etc, jungle, is not a jungle.
I love your drawing.
Have a nice week far from the jungle!!! :)
Haha this is great! I'm totally digging cityscapes lately, of all kinds, and yours is really cool! Terrific concept for the theme! I love those business suit guys swinging from the vine.
ReplyDeleteRow-boat! Brilliant! :) I love your jungle green backdrop, and maybe someone should take up your idea of ropes attached to buildings so people can swing to work, that's one way to beat the traffic jams and congestion :)
ReplyDeleteNice jungle scene!
ReplyDeleteCities can be wilder jungles than the "wild" kind! Cute illustration!
ReplyDeleteHi Claire, this is lovely and chaotic. Isn't it great to just play sometimes - we should do it more and we'd all be more productive. I think you should definitely work up the rowboat robot into something colourful (maybe a whole book of wordplays, kids would love that). Good luck with the illustration comp!!
ReplyDeleteWelcome back!! Love the frenetic energy of your jungle!! And the robot sketch is so clever! Made me smile!
ReplyDeleteThis is great! Love all the scale shifts and energy moving in the city flow! Wonderful illustration.
ReplyDeleteBoy, you're telling me. But you have me thinking; if pollution were green maybe it wouldn't be so bad.
ReplyDeletethis is great!:)
ReplyDeleteGreat. I thought of having animals in a Concrete Jungle - but yours makes more sense...
