Ok, so no one's going to believe me but I haven't seen any of the Olympics. Obviously though it's floating around in my subconcious somewhere!

  7. Thank you for the welcome comment you left on my blog post Claire :) I love your illustration, I love how the letters on their tops are all mixed up because they are bouncing so much and their super jumping positions - they are putting in a lot of effort :)

  9. Wait wait, I get it! All that's missing is you(U)? I haven't figured out the light bulbs, though. Reminded me a bit of an Aussie version of the Harlem Globetrotters, that team of wild guys who did all the crazy basketball tricks! So fun! Love their shades, and the shadows are great! Another great one!

    1. Clever "U"! The missing U was actually an accident but I thought it would be fun to see if anyone noticed. The light bulbs are inspired by the phrase "to bounce ideas of each other".

  10. I always enjoy the sneak peek of Australia that you give us in your illos, Claire! I never imagined that the dirt was so red – I thought that phenomenon occurred only in Hawaii. The cast shadows are as much fun as your Roos!

  12. Very bouncy! I suppose it had to be kangaroos! I didn't even notice the missing 'U'.

I have been watching some of the Olympics, including a bit of basketball, but maybe even more relevantly, some of Australia v GB in the men's volleyball...

  14. Hi Clare,
Just dropped by and found all these great illustrations! I reckon the regular practise is paying off! Well done.
Well done too, for managing to find the time for creative work amongst the rigours of small children.
Hope you are all travelling well.
    Love from down south,
    Shelley
